The department includes more than 180 staff members, from mechanics to managers; from construction management to managing Carlsbad’s trash and recycling collection; from designing the layout of a new city park to maintaining the equipment, processing development and construction projects, repairing sidewalks and roads, and maintaining a reliable source of drinking water.
