Records Management

The City Clerk's Department is responsible for maintaining official records, and for the preservation of the City's legislative history, including keeping the official record of City Council meetings.

These official records include the following documents from the City Council and its various Agencies (Municipal Water District, Housing and Redevelopment Commission, Public Financing Authority, Public Improvement Corporation, and Industrial Development Authority):

  • Agendas
  • Minutes
  • Resolutions and Ordinances
  • Agenda Bills
  • Contracts and Agreements
  • Bids
  • Deeds

Municipal Code

The City Clerk's Department is also responsible for maintenance of the Carlsbad Municipal Code. The Municipal Code is updated quarterly.
