Membership

• Comprised of seven members from the citizens of Carlsbad. All members are appointed by the Mayor with the concurrence of the City Council. Members must be residents of Carlsbad and normally serve four-year terms.

Duties

• Investigates and reports on topics or studies related to beach and bluff (including lagoons and jetties) erosion as directed by the City Manager and City Council.
