  • Five members appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the City Council. Members must be residents and normally serve four-year terms.
  • Staff Liaison: Area Manager - Recreation

Meetings

Duties

Advises and makes recommendations to the City Council on the special needs and concerns of seniors, including the creation, operation, maintenance, management and control of senior programs, activities and facilities.

It is a prerequisite for appointment to any City Board, commission, that the applicant be a resident of the City and a registered voter (see M.C. 2.08.090.)
