Membership

The committee consists of seven members. All members are appointed by the mayor and confirmed by the City Council. Members must be City of Carlsbad residents and normally serve four-year terms.

Duties

The committee investigates and reports on topics or studies related to beach and bluff (including lagoons and jetties) erosion, as directed by the city manager and City Council.
