HOW TO FILE YOUR BUSINESS LICENSE

Getting Started

You may apply for a Business License online, by mail or in person. The forms (in .pdf format) that are necessary in order to apply by mail or in person are available below. Please fill out each form completely, including date and signature. For additional information, please call (760) 602-2495.

Applicants may submit materials by one the following:
  • File Online

  • In Person
    You may drop off/pick up application materials at the Faraday Center during business hours.
  • By Mail:
    You may mail application materials to the Faraday Center, attention Business License Department, 1635 Faraday Avenue, Carlsbad, CA 92008.
