TRASH RATES

Effective October 1, 2007

Trash rates are composed of curbside collection, stormwater protection, and recycling services.

Curbside collection and recycling services are provided by Waste Management, for additional information please call (760) 929-9400. Stormwater protection program services are provided by the City of Carlsbad. For more information, visit Stormwater Protection. The rates are as follows:

Residential

Monthly Trash and Recycling Service: $18.87
Residential backyard service:
(Driver will collect containers from backyard rather than setting them curbside)		 $23.00

Commercial

Waste Management offers a variety of bin sizes from 1-yard to 6-yard bins (with or without locking mechanisms). The standard 3-yard bin rate is as follows:

Recycling: Mixed paper and cardboard

1 time per week $62.93
2 times per week $106.11
3 times per week $149.30
