INTERLIBRARY LOAN

Carlsbad City Library will borrow items from other libraries with the following exceptions:

  • Items published during the previous twelve months
  • Items owned by the Carlsbad City Library

There is a $2.00 per item fee for all interlibrary loans. Sometimes, additional fees are incurred (for example, the lending library charges a fee, or there is a per-page fee for photocopies).

Patrons are limited to three interlibrary loan requests at a time.

Most requests will arrive in 2 to 4 weeks.

Items are not renewable.
