Carlsbad City Library Summer 2017 Film and Cinema Series Announced

Carlsbad Film Series

The Carlsbad Film Series take place on the last three Wednesdays of each month. Films are screened in the Ruby G. Schulman Auditorium at the Carlsbad City Library, located at 1775 Dove Lane. Movie special features are shown beginning at 5:30 p.m. and the screenings begin at 6 p.m. Stay after the films for a post-screening discussion.

Carlsbad Cinema Series

The Carlsbad Cinema Series features a pre-show introduction and post-show discussion with a director or film expert. Films are screened in the Ruby G. Schulman Auditorium at the Carlsbad City Library, located at 1775 Dove Lane. Arrive at 1:30 p.m. for the pre-show introduction or at 2 p.m. for the film screening.

Introduction and Discussion led by Karin Muller, the filmmaker and director.

20th Century Women (2016, R, 119 minutes)

Introduction and discussion led by Brandon Cesmat, professor at California State University San Marcos.
