Library Hosts Children’s Author Festival

On Saturday, April 14, Carlsbad City Library will host its second Local Children’s Author Festival featuring several local authors of children’s books in a panel discussion moderated by Joy Chu, instructor in children’s book Illustration at UCSD Extension and former art director at Harcourt Brace. 

The author panel will take place from 11 a.m. to noon in Carlsbad City Library’s Ruby G. Schulman Auditorium, located at 1775 Dove Lane. From noon to 1 p.m., meet the authors in the library’s courtyard immediately following the panel. Enjoy refreshments and peruse books available for sale and signing.

Admission is free. Seating is first come, first served. The event is sponsored by Carlsbad Friends of the Library.
