TRESPASS ARREST AUTHORIZATION

Private property owners can complete a Trespass Authorization Form to authorize the Carlsbad Police Department to act on the behalf of property owners who are experiencing difficulties with persons trespassing, illegally lodging, sleeping and/or aggressively soliciting on their property.

The letter is in PDF format and can be completed in a number of ways. The letter can be filled in on your computer, printed, and then dropped off, mailed or faxed to the Police Department.

It is also possible to fill the letter out and email the letter back to our Carlsbad Police Department Attention: Community Services Division at Policemail@ci.carlsbad.ca.us. Simply fill out all of the boxes, save the letter and email it back from your email address with a note stating that you "signed it." Both documents will be printed by Carlsbad Police Department and maintained in our files.
