The City of Carlsbad works in partnership with the community. More than 1,800 community members have enriched their lives and the City of Carlsbad by volunteering. Assist Carlsbad to responsibly manage the city's resources by becoming a volunteer!

Volunteering allows residents to become a part of a team and view the city from the inside out. Getting involved in ongoing opportunities such as delivering meals to homebound seniors, providing clerical assistance at the Housing and Redevelopment office and assisting in the city's libraries are all ways community members can volunteer for the City of Carlsbad.

Volunteers are not required to commit to a consistent time. By joining the City of Carlsbad's volunteer pool, community members can match their availability to the city's volunteer needs.

The city also offers some unique ways to volunteer.
