2012 orientation schedule:
Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Most positions require a commitment of one to three hours per week for at least six months.
- Background checks are required for certain volunteer positions.
Before Attending
- Fill out an application and bring it with to the orientation.
- Contact Library Volunteer Coordinator Tammy Atherton at tammy.atherton@carlsbadca.gov or 760-434-2877. Provide name, contact information and desired date of attendance.
Openings are limited. If placed, training dates and schedules are usually assigned within a month of completed interviews.
