At Club Pelican, science and art unite in one amazing camp! The Batiquitos Lagoon is the “natural” location for this unique camp in which campers learn first-hand the wonders of nature. Guided by an experienced Naturalist, campers will hike the lagoon’s trails to explore the animal habitats, native birds and plants, insects and geology that reside there. Next, finding inspiration in the natural wonders they observed, campers will paint, draw, construct, and create artworks of all kind. This fun-filled—and very popular—camp is held in partnership with the Batiquitos Lagoon Foundation.

The theatre instructor will lead children through a series of performance activities and exercises. We’ll venture into theatre games and participate in improvisation, basic script writing and movement. All activities are designed to promote self-confidence and personal expression.
