Summer Arts Camps
The Cultural Arts Office offers children a variety of summer arts camp experiences including Creative Arts Camp and Club Pelican. All camps are staffed by professional artists and/or educators, a camp aide and many energetic and talented volunteers. These camps are offered to children ages 7 to 12 years old. 2014 Summer Camps Guide with full descriptions and registration forms will be available at the Cultural Arts Office, and other city locations by mid-February.
Please note the registration process below...
At Club Pelican, science and art unite in one amazing camp! Lead by an experienced Naturalist, campers will hike the lagoon’s trails to explore the animal habitats, native birds and plants, insects and geology that reside there. Inspired by natural wonders they observed, campers will paint, draw, construct and create artwork of all kinds. This fun-filled—and very popular—camp is held in partnership with the Batiquitos Lagoon Foundation.
