Description
A stylized figure (5’ 7” tall with base) cast from cement on a rebar frame with large rocks set into the cement of the figures leg area. At the torso, a tile mosaic covers the surface of the back and front sides. The figure has its arms up and outstretched. A cor-ten steel hoop extends through the torso, arms and encircles head of the figure. The head of the figure is sculpted to resemble a face consisting of a nose, eyes and lips and covered in small tiles. The face is on both the front and back of the figure. Approximately 18 “sunlight rays” protrude from the face and are also covered in tiles.
