San Diego Area Public Safety Dispatcher Testing Consortium covers the testing needs of six public agencies and local municipalities in the San Diego County area:

Coronado
El Cajon
Heartland Fire
National City
San Diego State University Campus Police
The content of the Public Safety Dispatcher exam was developed by The Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training, a state of California, Department of Justice, Training Agency dedicated to establishing and maintaining law enforcement standards.
The San Diego Area Public Safety Dispatcher Testing Consortium conducts exams during the months of January, May and September of each year. Successful completion of the exam may provide applicants eligiblity for employment with one or more of the participating agencies. Each agency is different and will have additional testing, filing, and background requirements. Applicants must contact the individual agencies to inquire about their application procedures.
