Carlsbad City Library will borrow items from other libraries on behalf of patrons with the following exceptions:

• Items published during the previous 12 months
• Items owned by the Carlsbad City Library

There is a $5 per item fee for all interlibrary loans. Any additional fees incurred (for example, photocopy fees or lending library charges) are the responsibility of the patron.

Patrons are limited to three interlibrary loan requests at a time.

Most requests will arrive in two to four weeks.

Items are not renewable.
