Carlsbad City Library Hosts Free Business Workshops
Feb. 28 and March 27 at 7 p.m.

Carlsbad City Library will host free business-related workshops on Feb. 28 and March 27 from 7-8 p.m. at the library’s Gowland Meeting Room, located at 1775 Dove Lane. Seating is first come, first served. For more information, call 760-602-2012.

Feb. 28: Social Media for Business
Becky Carroll, an international speaker, social media teacher and author, will share tips on using social media for your business. Becky is author of the business book “The Hidden Power of Your Customers” and also teaches social media at UC San Diego. She has been a speaker and panelist at many popular social media conferences.

March 27: Biz Plan Workshop / Checklist for Business Success
Joe Molina, director of The Business & Entrepreneurship Center and faculty member and business consultant at MiraCosta College, will share free resources available for creating business plans. Participants currently in business and/or in the process of receiving a loan will be invited for a free, private business plan coaching session with a consultant from the Small Business Development Center.
