Snores & S'mores is a fun family outdoor camping experience where you provide a tent and sleeping bag and we provide the rest.  Below are a few FAQ's.

Q. Can I register the day of the event?

A. No registrations will be allowed the day of the event.  All food orders have to be place prior to the event, so we are unable to take registration the day of the event.

Q. What time should we get there?

A. We will start to check families in at 4:30 p.m. to allow time to set up your tents on the baseball field.  We just ask that you do not come into the event area until 5 p.m. to allow staff to completely set up.

Q. Where do we check in?

A. You will be checked in at the entrance of the park while in your vehicle.  You will be asked to fill out a waiver and your family will be given wristbands to indicate that they are part of the event.  Please wear the wristband throughout the duration of the event.

Q. Where do I park?

A. The park is closed to the public after 4 p.m. and all parking should be available.  Do not park in red zones/"no parking" areas because you may ticketed.

Q. What camping gear do we need?

A. You will need to provide tents, sleeping bags, and pillows.  There are no electrical outlets for blowing up air mattresses.  It does get chilly overnight, and there is heavy dew in the morning.  Things left outside the tent (including you) will get wet.  Also, bring chairs or blankets for the movie.  You can set them up as soon as you get there.

Q. What food are you serving?

A. Dinner includes pasta, salad, breadsticks, and chicken wings.  We will also provide popcorn and S'mores. You may want to bring a few more snacks if you don't think that is enough and bottled water for the night.  Lemonade and water are available all night. It is a good idea to bring a container for water since the water is some distance away from the tents.  Breakfast will consist of coffee, hot chocolate, orange juice, muffins, bagels, yogurt and bananas.

 Q. What activities will there be?

A. Once you set up your tents (not earlier than 5 p.m.), head to the park's open space just east of the baseball field.  Ongoing activities, crafts, Fun Zone and BINGO take place in the center of the park.

Q. Do I need money for anything?

A. No, all of our games, activities, food, and prizes are part of your admission into the event.

Q. What time is "light out"?

A. As a courtesy to our neighbors, we ask that there be no talking, crying, laughing, etc. in the tent area after 10:30 p.m.  Remember, tent walls are very thin.  If 10:30 p.m. is too early for you, join the staff (who will be cleaning) in the picnic table area.  A hard "lights out" will be at 12 a.m. (when staff goes to bed).

Q. What if I need to get a hold of a staff person during the night?

A  Security will be onsite from 12 - 5 a.m., and will be located between the bleachers and restrooms.  Also, staff tents will be located on the hillside just above the restrooms and east of the baseball fields.
