Enjoy holiday themed activities, face painting, crafts, holiday shopping, food and beverage sales. The Carlsbad teen program, L.I.T.E., will sell hot dogs, bratwurst, nachos, chips, and popcorn for the movie.

Admission includes access to crafts, Santa, cookie decorating, entertainment and the outdoor movie. Pony rides, merchandise, food, beverages, and souvenir photos with Santa are available for an additional fee.

Parking available at Carrillo Elementary School with entry into the park through the school field.
There is limited parking as well as disabled parking in the Leo Carrillo Historic Park parking lot. There is additional parking at Carrillo Elementary School with walking access to Leo Carrillo Ranch Historic Park through the school blacktop and field. Look for signs leading to the park.
Create treasured memories at this classic holiday celebration. This magical event includes a tree lighting ceremony, crafts, cookie decorating, an outdoor movie and pony rides. Get some holiday shopping done at the craft boutique, and bring a blanket and chair for the holiday movie shown outdoors on the big screen. The evening also includes a very special visit by Santa himself.
There are crafts including letters to Santa, wooden gift tags, ornaments, and more. Face painting and cookie decorating (while supplies last) take place throughout the evening and are included with admission. Pony rides are available at an additional cost of $5 per person Also, there will be a special visit by Santa who will light the 14-foot tree. Take your child's picture with Santa or purchase a souvenir photo for $3 printed out at the event and includes a themed photo jacket. Finish the evening gathered around the giant outdoor movie screen for a classic holiday film. Want to find out more about the Leo Carrillo Ranch Historic Park? Join one of the Carrillo walking tours through the Hacienda or just pop in for the holiday story time in the main Hacienda.
Dress warmly for the cool night air even if the day is warm. Bring a low back chair for an outdoor viewing of a classic holiday movie. Bring money for the craft boutique and holiday gift sale. Look for jewelry, decorated ornament, candles, fun holiday themed glow toys, picture frames, holiday spec glasses that put a special glow around holiday lights, and much more. Food and beverages will be sold on site. Make sure to bring a camera for a photo with Santa or you can purchase a photo in a souvenir jacket for $3.
Holiday at the Rancho is an official drop off location for Toys for Tots.
