Volunteers are needed for several positions on race day, July 14, including athlete check-in, body marking, hospitality, timing crew and a wide variety of other jobs. It's a great way to experience the Triathlon up close without actually having to race! Volunteer help is also needed during the Community Wellness Expo, July 13.

Local businesses, this is a great chance to pull your employees together for team building and community service.  Sign your company up for a section (like a water station) and have your employees wear t-shirts and bring signs with your company logo.  Contact Natalie Alegre at natalie.alegre@carlsbadca.gov for more information or call 760-602-7511. 

A volunteer orientation/training meeting will take place on Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at the Carlsbad Senior Center located at 799 Pine Ave.  The meeting will be held in the dining room from 6 - 7:30 p.m.  A light dinner will be provided by TGIFridays.
