Livescan fingerprinting services are available to the public at the City of Carlsbad Police Department. Appointments are required. Call 760-931-2100 to schedule an appointment.

Fees

$52 State Department of Justice level (includes a city processing fee)
$76 State Department of Justice and Federal levels (includes a city processing fee)

• Additional state fees may apply for certain purposes such as child care licensing.
• Only cash or checks are accepted and a picture identification is required. 
• Customers will need to bring a completed Livescan form to the appointment.
• Inked prints are available for out-of-state purposes with a $20 fee per card.
