Free residential water use audit

A water conservation specialist from the Carlsbad Municipal Water District will come to a home and perform a thorough indoor/outdoor water survey free of charge. The visit will include recommendations on water usage improvements for the property. Call 760-438-2722 to make an appointment. Two videos are also available to walk residents through indoor and outdoor water surveys.

Residential rebate incentives

Residential rebate incentives have been effective in achieving water conservation savings. Starting September 21, 2009, a limited number of rebates will be available through the Metropolitan Water District’s SoCal Water$mart program for Southern California residential water customers. Funding is limited. Rebates will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis until funding is exhausted.

The Metropolitan Water District’s Commercial, Industrial, & Institutional Save Water Save A Buck rebate program provides a rebate for water conservation devices used by Southern California commercial, industrial, institutional, and multi‐family water customers.
