Fire Department

The City of Carlsbad Fire Department is an all-risk, all-threat first responder agency safeguarding lives, property and our environment through 24-hour fire, rescue and Emergency Medical Services.  The fire department also includes a Fire Prevention Division and citywide Emergency Preparedness, including the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and Hazard Mitigation Programs.  Priding itself on the strong partnership with the community and high service levels, the fire department lives out its mission to enhance the quality of life in Carlsbad.
