May 16, 2018: The Planning Commission held a third and final meeting to discuss the master plan and consider a third errata incorporating additional decisions made by the Commission at its May 2 meeting. The Commission concluded its discussion and voted to recommend approval of the plan to the City Council. You may watch the video of the meeting.
The City Council will hold a public hearing to consider approving the master plan. Hearing details will follow once the meeting date is set. Sign up to be notified about the City Council hearing date by visiting the city website (select "Planning & Development: Village and Barrio Master Plan").
If the Master Plan is approved by City Council, the portions of the plan related to the city’s Local Coastal Plan need to be submitted to the California Coastal Commission for approval.
