RECYCLE YOUR TELEPHONE BOOKS

Carlsbad residents can dispose of unwanted or outdated phone books in their curbside recycling. The City offers mixed paper recycling which includes phone books, catalogs, magazines, glossy paper, office and printer paper, newsprint, and colored paper. All of these items can be placed together in the blue recycling bin at curbside or in paper recycling containers at offices or multi-family dwellings.

Because phone books can be recycled at curbside the City and Waste Management will NOT place special bins for collection.

Residents can still recycle telephone books by taking them to the Waste Management Buyback Center located at 5960 El Camino Real. The Buyback Center is open Tuesday through Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., however, closed for lunch from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
