Carlsbad’s coastline is one of our greatest treasures, and this week the city is beginning a project to enhance our iconic bluff-top walkway and access to the beach.

Students protect local watersheds

The City of Carlsbad partners with local schools to bring hands-on watershed education directly into classrooms, helping students understand how everyday actions affect local waterways and what they can do to keep them clean.

Construction to start on beach stairs and sidewalk

Construction will begin soon along Carlsbad Boulevard between Pine and Tamarack avenues to replace the upper seawall stairs and widen a portion of the sidewalk.

What’s open and what’s closed on Veterans Day

City offices in Carlsbad will be closed on Tuesday, Nov. 11, in honor of Veterans Day.
