The City of Carlsbad Parks & Recreation Department offers a variety of special events for the community to enjoy. The department is responsible for two special events functions: creating special events for the public's enjoyment and event permitting for events on city property.

Carlsbad’s premier St. Patrick’s Day celebration is back! Join us for tons of fun at the Pine Avenue Community Center as our annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration returns. Activities include:

Laser tag
A video game truck with all the bells and whistles
Inflatable games
Competitions
Obstacle courses set up in the gym
Unfettered access to our Teen Center upstairs where the kids can indulge in ping pong, foosball, air hockey, pool and much more!
Onsite food caterer as well as snacks and drinks for an additional charge.
