The City of Carlsbad Parks & Recreation Department offers a variety of special events for the community to enjoy. The department is responsible for two special events functions: creating special events for the public's enjoyment and event permitting for events on city property.

A fundraiser for California History & Art Education Program presented by Friends of Carrillo Ranch, Inc.
Enjoy the warm spirit of hospitality that Leo Carrillo made famous at his ranch by attending the Fiesta at the Rancho. Guests will enjoy an evening with live entertainment, a hosted bar and a delicious meal set outdoors amidst the tranquil beauty of Leo Carrillo Ranch Historic Park.
This special evening benefits the California History & Art Program at Leo Carrillo Ranch Historic Park. Over 1,200 local fourth-grade students will have the opportunity to visit Carrillo Ranch to share in Leo’s vision of early California life and participate in an interactive art lesson. Your support and fundraising proceeds allow this award-winning program to be offered to all fourth-grade students in the City of Carlsbad at no cost.
All tickets include:
- Signature cocktail and beverages from the hosted bar
- Dinner and live entertainment
- Expansive silent auction featuring unique items from local businesses
$125 per person through April 18
$150 per person beginning April 19
Seating will be assigned. If you wish to sit together, please purchase all tickets together in one transaction.
What to bring
Comfortable footwear and attire for dining outdoors including sweater or light jacket.
Events may modify or cancel due to inclement weather.
