Fixit Clinic: Halloween Edition (Georgina Cole Library)

Join the City of Carlsbad for a hands-on Fixit Clinic. Bring your broken or non-working items such as electronics, appliances, computers, toys, bicycles, clothing and more for assessment, disassembly and possible repair. City staff and volunteers will provide workspace, specialty tools and guidance to help you take items apart and troubleshoot. Even if an item cannot be fixed, you will learn more about how it was made and how it works.

At this Halloween-themed event, you can also:

  • Swap costumes and accessories
  • Try upcycled décor ideas
  • Learn pumpkin and squash recipes
  • Get free tool and knife sharpening (one item per attendee)
  • Drop off plastic bags for recycling and plastic utensils for donation
