This class will explore ways to find New York City records for genealogy research, focusing on the mid-1800s through the early 20th century. New York immigration records at the turn of the 20th century will also be highlighted.
This class is for ages 13 and older, and will be held in the upstairs Computer Lab at the Library Learning Center located at 3368 Eureka Place in Carlsbad. This is a hands on computer class. A Carlsbad City Library card with internet privileges is required.
Note: Although not required for this class, a free FamilySearch account may be beneficial to have in order to access some of the in-class content. If you already have a FamilySearch account, please make sure you bring your login information with you to class.
