The City of Carlsbad invites the community to enjoy evenings of classic cinema and local history at the annual Leo Carrillo Ranch Film Festival.
Held at the historic Leo Carrillo Ranch, the event offers a unique opportunity to watch rare films from Hollywood's Golden Age featuring Leo Carrillo, along with movies inspired by the legacy of the actor, conservationist and ranch owner.
Guests can explore the ranch before the show, enjoy gourmet snacks and beverages available for purchase, and experience an outdoor movie screening in a setting that reflects Carlsbad’s rich history.
The ranch will open at 6 p.m., with tours of the historic Hacienda available until sunset. The film program will begin promptly at sunset and, time permitting, will include an episode of "The Cisco Kid" before the featured film.
The event is free, but online reservations are required. Tickets are limited to two per person and are available while supplies last.
