The 2026 Summer Reading Adventure has come to a close, and we couldn’t have done it without you. This year’s theme, “Plant a Seed, Read,” encouraged readers of all ages to grow their love of reading, discover new interests and cultivate lifelong learning.

Together, 3,326 participants helped us surpass our community reading goal, logging more than 2 million minutes of reading.

Thank you to everyone who participated, encouraged a reader, attended events or helped spread the word about this year’s Summer Reading Adventure.

If you earned rewards, you can redeem them at any Carlsbad City Library location through Saturday, Aug. 8. Raffle winners will also be contacted by Aug. 8.
