The City of Carlsbad has released its annual State of the City video which highlights major accomplishments throughout Carlsbad from the past year.

The video debuted during the September 1, 2026 City Council meeting as part of its annual State of the City Presentation. City Council members shared brief remarks followed by this year’s State of the City video: 

This year’s video includes guest appearances from some of Carlsbad’s seniors and long-time residents and features updates on key projects and initiatives that support the City Council’s 5-Year Strategic Plan goals.
