This new pilot program offers in‑person “office hours” at local libraries to provide small business owners with direct support, guidance, and access to city resources. The initiative is designed to strengthen local business engagement and help entrepreneurs navigate permits, planning, and other key business needs in Carlsbad.

Small Business workshop series 

In partnership with the City of Carlsbad, the Chamber hosts a Small Business Workshop Series to provide Carlsbad businesses with timely resources and expert-led guidance. 

These workshops are designed to:

  • Connect local businesses with industry professionals.
  • Offer tools and strategies to navigate regulatory, financial, and operational challenges.
  • Support business growth in Carlsbad through specialized knowledge and networking opportunities.  

Workshops are free and open to all Carlsbad businesses. Sessions will be held virtually or in-person. Space maybe limited based on availability – we encourage all businesses to please sign up directly on the Chamber of Carlsbad’s event webpage. 

Chamber of Commerce

The Small Business Success Center is a one-stop resource hosted by the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce offering free one-on-one counseling, workshops, networking, and expert guidance to help local small businesses start, grow, and succeed. 

Small Business Development Centers

The SBA’s Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs) are a nationwide network of local advisors offering free and personalized counseling, training, and technical assistance to help entrepreneurs and small business owners start, grow, and strengthen their businesses. These centers provide expert guidance on business planning, financing, marketing, operations, and more to support small business success across the United States.
