Community budget workshop

City staff will host a workshop in the the evening on Thursday, May 21, 2026, for residents interested in learning about the preliminary 2026-27 city budget. More details will be posted here in the coming weeks.

Setting priorities

The annual budget includes work plans and resources to accomplish the goals in the City Council's 5-Year Strategic Plan. The plan includes five main goals that reflect the values the community identified as being most important through public meetings and online engagement.

The city gathers input on issues affecting the budget all year through meetings, workshops, online surveys and more.
