Community budget workshop

City staff hosted a workshop on Thursday, May 22 for residents interested in learning about the preliminary fiscal year 2025-26 city budget and asking questions. Detailed notes on the questions and comments received at the workshop were included with the agenda packet for the City Council's consideration.

The City Council adopted the fiscal year 2025-2026 budget at its meeting on June 17, 2025.

Setting priorities

The annual budget includes work plans and resources to accomplish the goals in the City Council's 5-Year Strategic Plan. The plan includes five main goals that reflect the values the community identified as being most important through public meetings and online engagement.

The city gathers input on issues affecting the budget all year through meetings, workshops, online surveys and more.
