Public Safety Open House

National Fire Prevention Week and National Crime Prevention Week are both celebrated each October. To mark the occasion, the City of Carlsbad hosts an annual Public Safety Open House at the Carlsbad Safety Training Center.

The event offers a variety of hands-on and educational activities, giving visitors the chance to explore police and fire vehicles, see equipment up close and connect with our staff.

Each year, the open house draws more than 1,000 attendees and continues to be a favorite tradition for local families.
