- San Diego County’s Down Payment Closing Costs Assistance - Low-income, first-time homebuyers may qualify for a low-interest, deferred payment loan of up to 22% of the purchase price for down payment assistance and 4%, up to $10,000 in closing costs assistance.
- SDHC First-Time Homebuyer Low-Income Program can assist with the purchase of a single-family home, townhome or condominium in the City of San Diego. Eligible buyers earning no more than 80 percent of San Diego’s Area Median Income may qualify for a deferred-payment, second trust deed loan of up to 25 percent of the purchase price, with the interest rate set at 3 percent, and a closing cost assistance grant of up to $10,000.
