Carlsbad is now using GovTransfer for report requests

How to submit a records request using GovTransfer

The Carlsbad Police Department has made it easier and more efficient to request records through our new online system, GovTransfer. Follow the simple steps below to submit your request.

1. Register and confirm your account with GovTransfer
2. Select “New Request” from the left navigation bar
3. Select Carlsbad Police Department and the appropriate type of request (ex. Crime Report Request), fill in the form, and submit your request. 

Watch for emails from GovTransfer for updates on your request.
