This program is designed to strengthen police-community partnerships and provide an in-depth understanding of our operations and initiatives.

Academy details

  • Duration: Seven weeks, with one (1) three-hour evening class each week.
  • Schedule: Classes are held Wednesdays, 6-9 p.m.
  • Eligibility: Participants must be Carlsbad residents and at least 18 years of age.
  • Class Size: Limited to 25 participants.
  • Frequency: One academy is held each year.
