You can use this online crime reporting system to report certain crime types, listed below. Other non-emergencies can be reported by calling 442-339-2197. Using this online crime reporting system allows you to submit a report immediately, get a report case number, and print a copy of the police report at no charge.
These conditions must be met in order to file an online crime report:
- This is not an emergency
- This incident occurred within the City of Carlsbad
- You have no information about the suspect
- You do not have any evidence to submit, including videos or photographs
- This did not occur on State Route 78 or I-5 Freeway
Please note:
- All cases filed online will be reviewed
- If the case does not meet the criteria, it will be rejected
- You may be contacted if further investigation of your case is needed
- Filing a false police report is a crime
