The City of Carlsbad is celebrating Family History Month with the launch of the Ask a Genealogist program. The program is available through the Genealogy and Carlsbad History Division of the Georgina Cole Library beginning Oct. 1.
The purpose of the program is to help participants learn more about their family history. Participants can take part in three, one-hour sessions with experienced genealogists on the library staff and through the North San Diego County Genealogical Society. Participants will have access to the library’s highly-regarded print and online resources.
Participation is free and open to all library patrons, but appointments are necessary. To sign up for the program, call 760-434-2931 or email genealogy@carlsbadca.gov.
