Carlsbad City Library is hosting its annual Teen Talent Shows this summer at Ruby G. Schulman Auditorium, located at 1775 Dove Lane. Participation is free. This year the first-place winners of the shows are invited to perform during the preshow before the Aug. 17 Poncho Sanchez performance at TGIF Concerts in the Parks.

The competitors will be judged by a three-person panel. Performances must be less than six minutes long. Prizes are awarded to all contestants.
The Teen Talent Shows are held as part of the library’s Summer Reading Adventure, which runs from June 18 through Aug. 5 and features reading incentives, activities and fun for readers of all ages. For more information about the Summer Reading Adventure, visit www.carlsbadlibrary.org.
