Basic Zentangle® 101

Tuesday, June 9, 10 - 11:30 a.m. $35
Learn the basics of Zentangle®, its history, methodology and the tools used.  Zentangle® is and easy-to-learn, relaxing art form which uses basic strokes to create beautiful patterns which are combined to make a tile.  Each student will create a tile, a work of art.  No art background required. Tangling for Fun & Relaxation

Tuesdays, June 23 & 30, 10 - 11:30 a.m. $64
Come explore the different aspects of Zentangle®, an easy-to-learn, relaxing and fun way to create beautiful images.  Mindful drawing helps quiet the mind and relax the body. Each session will focus on a different aspect of the Zentangle® method. Basic Zentangle 101 preferred. No art background required. Register here.

Functional Yoga

Wednesdays, June 3 & 24, 1 - 2 p.m. $42
Create a union of body, mind and spirit as you practice basic postures and breathwork while re-training yourself to function better off the mat. Postures focus on your requests and include balance, joint comfort, flexibility, strength, bone health and more! Instructors have decades of yoga experiences, with seniors in particular! A short meditation prepares you for the rest of your day. This class is not for beginners. You’ll want a mat, small towel and stretching strap. Wear clothing that allows movement. Little to no food recommended within two hours of practice. Register here.

PiYo (Pilates & Yoga)

Wednesdays, June 3 - 24, 2:15 - 3:15 p.m. $42
PiYo is going virtual! Join us on Zoom for yoga with more for your core, back and belly! Pilates (puh-LAH-teez) was developed by a dancer to improve balance, flexibility, strength, circulation and pressure. You’ll want a mat, small towel and stretching strap. Wear clothing that allows movement. Little to no food suggested within two hours of practice. Register here.

Culinary Lab Lunch Hour

Thursdays, Noon - 1 p.m. Free
Culinary Lab instructor Kyle Dixon will host a weekly lunch hour in the Pine Culinary Lab. Class will be livestreamed as Kyle cooks a new delicious and nutritious meal each week. Students will receive the recipe in advance, so they can have all ingredients on hand to cook along with Kyle! Register here.
